Josephine House – Cusco, Peru
Our latest initiative
The Josephine House (Casa Josefina) is an orphanage for abandoned or abused children located high in the Andes Mountains of Cusco, Peru. Many of the children come from very difficult circumstances, and some have special needs and medical problems. The staff lovingly cares for these children until they can place them in adoption with stable, nurturing families. In fact, the home places more children than any other home in the region, actively working within the legal system to get them adopted. The home is also the only home in the area that accepts abandoned newborn children. Newborns require more caregivers as well as expensive formula and diapers.
A portion of all Miss Sayé’s Lawn Mower purchased at White Birch Food & Juice goes directly to helping the children of the Josephine House.
