Stitching Together a New Beginning: Supporting Women Artisans in Mulay Brahim Village in Morocco.
In the aftermath of the 2023 earthquake in Morocco, we’ve had the privilege of collaborating with the resilient community of Atlas mountain Mulay Brahim Village. During our recent visit in October 2024, we collectively envisioned a Women’s Center, where local artisans can craft traditional textiles, rugs, and handicrafts. This initiative aims to empower women, fostering emotional balance and mental well-being, while providing a platform for economic growth. As we work towards establishing this hub, we’re also planning to build a neighboring bakery, focusing on supporting the most vulnerable members of the community, including women and children.
